Kristin attended Missouri State for her undergraduate study, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology. She then went on to receive her Master of Education in Counseling from Wichita State University, and graduated in 2024.
Kristin believes that therapy should be centered on the client, with sessions tailored to align with each person's unique goals. Her approach is collaborative, providing a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel supported as they navigate life’s challenges. Kristin understands that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and she works to create an environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. She believes that everyone holds the power to heal within themselves, and sees her role as that of a facilitator to guide and support clients in their growth.
She specializes in working with couples for premarital and marital counseling, as well as helping individuals and couples navigate concerns related to sexual dissatisfaction, sexual desire, and sexual functioning. She also works with individuals dealing with health anxiety, religious trauma, chronic illness, and the unique concerns of older adults (65+). Kristin sees people ages 15 and up and is dedicated to providing inclusive care for people of all backgrounds, including diverse cultural identities, gender identities, and life experiences.
