Overview

I believe the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important aspects of effective therapy. Because of this, I seek to create a safe, trauma-informed environment for everyone who enters my office. My goal is to help clients cultivate healthy relationships with the most vulnerable parts of themselves by emphasizing self-compassion and exploring how painful past experiences are impacting them in the present. At the center of my therapeutic work is the belief that all “symptoms” are adaptations our brains and bodies have used to protect us and keep us safe from pain and suffering. Working with me, you can expect to honor those survival skills while learning more functional, longer-term ways of coping.

I am open to clients ages 16+ for individual and couples counseling. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and strive to be anti-racist and anti-colonial in my therapeutic work.

I specialize in working with:

Young adults struggling with life transitions

“People Pleasers” who want to learn to set boundaries, increase their emotional awareness, and decrease anxiety

Individuals or couples healing from Spiritual Abuse and/or Religious Trauma

Those looking to improve their embodied awareness
