Sydney is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, where she earned a Master’s of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Family and Community Service, and a Minor in Art. She also received a Certificate from the Gottman Institute - Gottman Method Couples Therapy -Level 1.
She enjoys working with families and couples and utilizes art and play therapy to help clients explore how their experiences and family system influence their mental health. By utilizing experiential and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, she collaboratively works with clients to guide them in their journey to improve their mental health. She has experience working with individuals and families learning to cope with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, low self-esteem, parenting, and family and relational conflict. Sydney’s approach to therapy is to offer empathy and provide her clients with a safe space to process emotions as they endure growth and change.
