Liz Patty is currently licensed as a School Counselor, K-6 Elementary Educator, and a LPC-T. She attended Emporia State University for her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Wichita State University for her Master’s degree in School Counseling. In July of 2023, she received her School Counselor to CMHC certification from WSU.
With 15 years of experience working with children, Liz has been a licensed professional helping to cultivate resilience, self-esteem, and support children in navigating life's challenges. Her years in the classroom and as a school counselor have given her the opportunity to teach coping strategies, facilitate peer conflict resolution, manage anxiety, and help children understand and regulate their emotions.
Liz primarily works with children from age 5 to adolescence. Her approach to therapy is client and family centered and she strives to provide a warm, safe, and trusting space that fosters growth and allows her clients to feel heard, understood, and empowered. Evidence based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, help guide discovery and set goals. She believes each child/person is unique so therefore, each approach and healing journey is as well. She is driven by a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and remains committed to helping them thrive.
