I graduated from Emporia State University with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a postgraduate certification in Trauma Informed Education: Social Emotional Learning and Psychological Well-Being. I have worked with individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, dysfunctional families including addiction and/or abuse/neglect, individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence, a variety of anxiety disorders including OCD, generalized, and social anxiety, mild to severe depression, and multiple forms of grief and loss. I use a variety of different treatment types. I alter my approach to be specific to your needs once we have established goals while working together. A few treatments I enjoy using are Narrative Therapy and CBT in a timeline to better understand and access core beliefs; as well as, Behavioral Therapy for wanting to discover the "why" to better illuminate patterns of operating in day to day life.

Do you struggle with a challenging relationship, a lost sense of self, grief, anxiety, depression? Does this affect your daily living, relationships, your ability to function, your work or career? Do you feel overwhelmed, exhausted, defeated, frustrated, or lost? Are you looking for hope and light at the end of the tunnel? You are not alone. I offer a person centered approach for each of my clients. I will start by understanding where you are now and the challenges you are facing. Together, we will design a specific plan for you to move forward finding hope in the future. My goal is to empower and support you so you can live the life you have dreamed of living. Helping people freely explore the complexities of their emotions, discovering insights, and embracing growth is my passion. This may look like learning to set boundaries, working through loss or life transitions, or helping to change a pattern of behavior that is keeping you stuck.
