Overview

With compassion and caring,I have practiced as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Kansas since 1998.I enjoy working with adults, older adults, military Veterans and Active-Duty military service members.

Therapy is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and individually tailored based on the needs, goals, and preferences of the client. I am down to earth, open, committed to expanded acceptance and support diversity.

I have training and expertise in evidence-based treatments effective for a wide range of problems which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy  (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD (CPT),  Problem Solving Therapy (PST), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Mindfulness based interventions.

Over the span of my career, I worked  in a broad range of outpatient and hospital settings, which included 11 years at a regional VA medical center. My approach to therapy is to walk alongside clients as they navigate obstacles and challenges. My aim is to promote psychological flexibility and empower clients to be true to themselves. My therapeutic approach builds on strengths and helps clients form new strategies to make desired changes and live a more effective and meaningful life.
