Lauren Cockrell graduated from New Mexico State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and then from Eastern New Mexico University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Lauren's desire to help others and further her education landed her at Emporia State University, where she graduated in May of 2023 with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology.
Lauren is a temporary Licensed Master's Level Psychologist who offers both psychological and competency evaluations and individual therapy services. She approaches therapy through an integrative style, implementing experiential techniques that are mindfully, emotionally, and strengths-based, and enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life, offering individual therapy services for teens and adults. She specializes in working with those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relational conflict, narcissistic abuse, trauma, parenting stress, low self-esteem, and phase of life concerns and is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Somatic Experiencing, and Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy for Attachment Trauma and Complex PTSD.
